Our Staff:
Elizabeth Pandich, head trainer
Elizabeth grew up riding in Westchester County, New York. As a junior rider she competed successfully in the hunter and equitation divisions, qualifying for all major equitation finals such as AHSA (now USEF) Hunter Seat Medal Finals, New England Equitation Finals, and ASPCA Maclay Regionals. Throughout her junior years, Elizabeth developed her horsemanship by caring for horses on her family's small private farm, being a working student at a top show barn, and volunteering at an equine veterinary practice.
After her junior years, Elizabeth headed to Cornell University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. During her college years, Elizabeth was introduced to the jumper world, campaigning her horse Kaiser in the Amateur Owner Jumpers. Upon completing college Elizabeth dove into the horse industry as a professional. For 4 years Elizabeth worked as a freelance rider and trainer, where she campaigned, qualified, and ribboned with horses in the professional hunter divisions at the nation's most prestigious shows like the Devon Horse Show and Pennsylvania National Horse Show. In 2007, her first year competing in these divisions, she was Leading Hunter Rider of the Vermont Summer Festival Circuit. For 3 years Elizabeth has worked for Olympic medalist Peter Leone at his Lionshare Farm in Greenwich, CT. At Lionshare Elizabeth had the opportunity to hone her riding skills and learn the ins and outs of a top tier show barn. As a trainer Elizabeth has brought Pony, Junior, and Amateur hunter, equitation, and jumper riders to top prizes at such shows as Devon, Harrisburg, Capital Challenge, Washington, and the Winter Equestrian Festival. Elizabeth has founded Limelight Farm to turn her 25 years of experience with horses into a comprehensive program that balances horsemanship, safety, success, and fun, no matter what your skill level. |
